I. Introduction

This comprehensive update covers the latest developments across the Big BLYMP ecosystem, detailing significant progress and upcoming features for each of our core initiatives: Yamfore, Obymare, and Uyniboard. We’ll explore Yamfore’s V1.5 release, Obymare’s development progress, and Uyniboard’s evolution into a general-purpose aggregator.

II. Progress

YAMFORE

Our primary focus remains on the imminent release of Yamfore V1.5, our first major protocol update to Yamfore Classic. Following the successful implementation of the Plomin Hardfork, we’ve been able to concentrate our efforts on finalizing the remaining components and optimizing the platform’s functionality.

As part of this update, we’re excited to announce a completely revamped landing page, featuring vibrant animations and a more dynamic, bubbly aesthetic. This refresh creates a more compelling first impression for newcomers to the platform while maintaining the professional functionality our users expect.

Current technical developments include:

  • Extensive ongoing UI & UX refinements for V1.5
  • Migration from Deno to Node for improved performance and ecosystem compatibility
  • Transition from Lucid to Lucid Evo, enhancing our transaction handling capabilities
  • Comprehensive reworking of the PF setup
  • Integration of Orcfax support ( Well overdue 👏 )
  • Reimplementation of internal testing frameworks

While V1.5 remains our immediate priority, we’re also passively progressing on our major Peer-to-Pool (PTP) upgrade, scheduled for release around mid-2025. This substantial protocol enhancement will mark a significant evolution in Yamfore’s capabilities, with more details to be shared as we approach its development phase.

As a refresher, the V1.5 upgrade introduces two key features: ADA & CBLP Auction portals, both designed to supplement the protocol’s USD treasury while supporting Yamfore’s expansion. The ADA auction portal, which will launch first, utilizes staking rewards from users’ deposited ADA collateral. The CBLP auction portal, which will allow users to swap treasury CBLP tokens at a discount by providing stablecoins, but will launch later when CBLP reaches our target price threshold. Once again, we welcome all community feedback regarding this threshold in the Big BLYMP discord.

Both auction initiatives will create additional capital flow, complementing our traditional loan repayment model (Yamfore Classic) and enabling users to purchase either token at a fixed market discount. These initiatives will supplement the protocol’s success until Yamfore PTP arrives, which will address a broader market segment.

OBYMARE

We’re excited to announce that Obymare is gearing up for its private testnet launch. The UI & UX design has been finalized with no further major changes needed, and we’re currently working on off-chain transaction building with the updated toolset from Yamfore V1.5 and changes introduced with the Plomin Hardfork.

Additionally, we’re developing a proper landing page that will showcase Obymare’s capabilities and value proposition in an engaging and professional manner. We’re also pleased to announce the near completion of our Litepaper, complementing our comprehensive and already compeleted Whitepaper! 🥳

To clarify the distinction: if the Litepaper is how to drive a car, then the Whitepaper is how to build the car. The Litepaper explains the overall mechanics of the protocol, while the Whitepaper describes in detail the functionality of the contracts, going through what the validators and datums are doing etc.

Our team’s focus remains on finalizing all preparations for a smooth private testnet launch before moving to public testnet, ensuring that Obymare will serve as a fundamental building block for the entire Cardano DeFi ecosystem when eventually released to mainnet.

UYNIBOARD

While development focus has primarily been on Yamfore and Obymare, strategic planning for Uyniboard continues to progress. Our current focus includes refining the implementation strategy, with DEX aggregation prioritized as our initial feature. We’re pleased to announce ongoing partnership discussions with a respected team that already provides aggregation services. This collaboration will enhance their existing solution with refined UI & UX and provide additional benefits for CBLP holders, aligning with our previously outlined ecosystem plans.

Within the broader BLYMP ecosystem, this evolution strengthens Uyniboard’s position as a central hub, creating stronger connections between Yamfore and Obymare while enhancing the overall value proposition across all three platforms.

III. Conclusion

As we move forward with these initiatives, our focus remains on delivering polished, user-centric solutions that add genuine value to the Cardano ecosystem. The successful Plomin Hardfork has set a strong foundation for our ecosystem’s growth. With Yamfore V1.5’s optimization in full swing, Obymare approaching private testnet, and Uyniboard’s strategic partnerships taking shape, we’re making steady progress toward our stated BLYMP plan.

We invite the community to continue engaging with us through the new feedback Discord channel, where your input plays a crucial role in shaping these developments. As we progress through 2025, we look forward to delivering solutions that not only meet but exceed the high standards of the Cardano DeFi community and growing the Big BLYMP ecosystem to new heights!
