I. Introduction
This comprehensive update covers the latest developments across the Big BLYMP ecosystem, detailing significant progress and upcoming features for each of our core initiatives: Yamfore, Obymare, and Uyniboard.
II. Progress
Yamfore v1.5
Our primary focus remains on the imminent release of Yamfore V1.5, our first major protocol update to Yamfore Classic, alongside the Obymare Private Testnet. Originally, we aimed to have them ready by mid-to-late February 2025, but we’ve hit some minor technical hurdles that pushed us past those deadlines. That said, we’re in good shape and making steady progress. We expect to hit both milestones soon — sometime this month, by the look of things. Our main hurdles are organizing the code base, updating some components to match the version of our development tooling, and general unit testing, etc.

Obymare
As mentioned already, both Yamfore V1.5 and the Obymare Private Testnet are gearing up for release this month. We’ve lined up a lucky few participants as initial testers, with more to be added later, of course, as we gradually expand the private testing participants. 👇
For the Obymare, similar to Yamfore V1.5, we’ve hit some minor development hurdles. We still require some more testing and we’re focused on implementing the remaining transaction building aspects using Yamfore V1.5’s enhanced toolset, ensuring both platforms leverage identical backend infrastructure for cohesion. Steady progress continues across multiple fronts: toolset upgrades, transaction processing optimization, and comprehensive testing protocols in preparation for our upcoming private testnet deployment.

Uyniboard
Lastly, Uyniboard. Behind the scenes, we’ve been sketching designs, refining concepts, and laying the groundwork for its future. As many community members have already noticed, Uyniboard continues to evolve into something truly distinctive.
Initially beginning as a simple yield aggregator focused on providing an easy portal for acquiring $OBYUSD yield while utilizing Yamfore PTP in the background, thus bringing utility to both protocols simultaneously. Uyniboard then further expanded into broader aggregation (DEX etc.) and now once again expanding, into its final form as a general purpose DeFi service platform, that offers financial services lacking in the Cardano community.
Think of Uyniboard as our creative sandbox, where the team is free to experiment with critical DeFi offerings missing in greater Cardano community and attempting to find more value in general. Uyniboard is shaping up to be a versatile, general-purpose DeFi platform, designed to appeal to a wide audience while always having the purpose to driving increased revenue and synergy to Yamfore and Obymare indirectly. Whether through the advent of financial services that utilise the core offering of their services i.e. causing $OBYUSD demand, and increasing either lent or borrowed assets on Yamfore.
Further strengthening Uyniboard’s utility within our ecosystem, the distribution of $OBYIII will be conducted exclusively through Uyniboard. While additional details will be revealed at the appropriate time, we’re excited to share the core feature sets planned for Uyniboard’s launch this year:
- OTC Desk: Streamlined over-the-counter trading for seamless access. (Core aspect of $OBYIII token distribution)
- Yield Aggregator: Prioritizing Yamfore PTP for optimized returns. (Driving usage for Yamfore PTP and OBYUSD as the sole accepted supply asset)
- CNT Token Sales Portal: A hub for launching and acquiring Cardano-native tokens. (Core aspect of $OBYIII token distribution)
- DeFi Academy: Educating users to grow the ecosystem. (Covers how to use Yamfore, Obymare etc.)

Without concerns about token price volatility or market reactions to platform adjustments, we can rapidly test new concepts, pivot strategies, and implement ambitious features. At its core, Uyniboard exists solely to enhance the functionality and expand the reach of Yamfore & Obymare ecosystems — a focused purpose that guides all our development decisions.
III. Conclusion
Safe to say the team is pushing forward. We’re focused on launching Yamfore V1.5 and Obymare Private Testnet this month despite some minor technical hiccups. We’re also shaping Uyniboard into a versatile DeFi platform for Cardano, with features like an OTC desk, yield aggregator, token sales portal, and DeFi Academy, among others. It all seems to be a matter of coming together slowly, then quickly.
