I. Introduction

This comprehensive update covers the latest developments across the Big BLYMP ecosystem, detailing significant progress and upcoming features for each of our core initiatives: Yamfore, Obymare, and Indytane.

II. Progress

Yamfore

While working on V1.5, we overcame many technical hurdles and made strong progress. However, the Big BLYMP team has decided to shift all resources to the Yamfore Peer-to-Pool (PTP) upgrade effective immediately because its expected long-term return is higher and the path to delivery is clearer.

Peer-to-Pool changes the interest model so that 20% of every borrower interest payment is routed into CBLP. This adjustment strengthens supply-side incentives and accelerates token deflation. Based on comparative TVL and ROI benchmarks from other pooled lending and borrowing protocols on Cardano, the same design would already have moved a large share of activity to contributors and liquidity providers, something Yamfore Classic does not achieve efficiently.

We know this pivot may unsettle some community members, yet it aligns with the best long-term outcomes for both Yamfore and the wider Big BLYMP ecosystem. The new focus takes effect immediately.

Yamfore V1.5 is not cancelled; work will resume once Peer-to-Pool is live and stable, that is now our focus as a team.

Obymare

There have been some delays, but as Obymare prepares for its private testnet launch we are finalising the off-chain transaction builder, which is now close to completion after weeks of setbacks. Our team is also finishing the $OBYIII token-sale portal to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Community members can expect the following timeline:

Obymare Private Testnet > Obymare Public Testnet > Obymare $OBY Token Launch > Obymare Mainnet Launch.

Each event is scheduled roughly seven to ten days apart, so they will occur in quick succession. We have been relentlessly testing to guarantee a smooth rollout across the board, and we are committed to becoming the leading decentralised stablecoin on Cardano.

For those who missed the initial tweet, we showcased a sneak preview of Obymare’s UI and UX. The reception was fantastic, and the team appreciated the positive feedback on the months of nonstop work invested in making Obymare accessible to everyone.

Obymare will serve as a foundational building block for the entire Cardano DeFi ecosystem once it reaches mainnet.

Indytane

While development efforts have primarily focused on Yamfore and Obymare, strategic planning for Indytane continues to advance. Indytane now concentrates on yield, using OBYUSD as the vehicle and Yamfore as the mechanism to secure that yield.

Although Indytane is still refining its product-market fit, its current priority is to deliver strong yield opportunities that link the value propositions of both Yamfore and Obymare while creating a user-base moat for the broader Big BLYMP ecosystem.

As we move forward with these initiatives, our focus remains on delivering polished, user-centric solutions that provide meaningful value to the Cardano ecosystem. We are steadily advancing toward the goals outlined in our BLYMP plan, guided by a commitment to innovation, transparency, and community collaboration.
