I. Introduction
The Cardano ecosystem is no stranger to evolution, with projects rising and falling as the market shifts. Recent concerns over many notable projects remaining in the Cardano ecosystem highlight the importance of aligning with user needs and building for sustainability. At Big BLYMP, we’ve taken a different approach — one rooted in adaptability, efficiency, and a revenue model designed to weather any storm.
With a lean team of fewer than 10 people, we’re building a thriving ecosystem by focusing on high product-market fit (PMF) solutions (Yamfore, Obymare, Uyniboard), harnessing Cardano’s latest dev-tooling, and maintaining highly cost-effective operations. In this blog post, we’ll dive into how Big BLYMP generates revenue, why our approach is sustainable, and how we’re distinguishing ourselves in Cardano’s DeFi landscape while creating a foundation for long-term success.
*Please note that these strategies are iterative and will fully take shape as essential building blocks, such as the completion of Yamfore PTP development, are finalized, all scheduled for this year. The transition phase has already begun, and we’ll elaborate on this later in the article.*

Big BLYMP’s revenue model rests on X3 core avenues, each carefully crafted to maximize efficiency and resilience. Here’s how we do it:
1. Perpetual Borrowing and Lending Against Token Holdings, aka the “Buy, Borrow, Die” Strategy
Drawing inspiration from the “Buy, Borrow, Die” strategy, we borrow against our token portfolio — ADA, CBLP, and OBYIII — through lending and borrowing platforms, primarily Yamfore PTP (currently in development) in our case. Rather than selling assets and facing taxable events or market volatility, we use them as collateral for low-interest loans, unlocking liquidity to fuel operations while preserving long-term value. This approach aligns our company’s interests with those of the community: the more value we deliver, the more our assets appreciate, benefiting token holders of both $OBYIII and $CBLP.
2. Yield Obtained from our stablecoin holdings ( $OBYUSD )
$OBYUSD, our ecosystem’s stablecoin, is a key revenue driver. By lending it to borrowers, we generate steady interest payments. Its stability meets a clear market need — users want a reliable store of value in turbulent times, making $OBYUSD a high-PMF offering. We also build synergy, as the primary source of yield on our $OBYUSD holdings comes through Yamfore PTP, reinforcing Big BLYMP’s ecosystem synergy.
This yield source provides a stable and conservative income stream from our holdings, unaffected by market conditions, since it stems from a stable asset. The cherry on top is its key role in Yamfore PTP, enhancing Yamfore’s profitability and indirectly adding value to our CBLP holdings. This stream remains consistent across market cycles, supported by strong stablecoin demand, and provides a reliable foundation for our lean team.
3. Revenue from Uyniboard’s DeFi Services
Uyniboard will serve as a versatile DeFi platform, designed to attract a wide user base and drive revenue not only for itself but also for Yamfore and Obymare. As our standalone DeFi solution, Uyniboard is built to boost adoption and indirectly support Yamfore and Obymare’s growth.
As already announced in the monthly ecosystem update, Uyniboard will launch with the following DeFi services this year:
- OTC Desk: Streamlined over-the-counter trading for seamless exchanges . (This will provide an easy-to-use, one-off trade solution for large accounts and whale trades, as well as average users seeking better deals.)
- Yield Aggregator: Prioritizing Yamfore PTP for optimized returns. (Drives usage of Yamfore PTP and OBYUSD as the sole accepted supply asset.)
- CNT Sales Portal: A hub for launching and acquiring Cardano-native tokens. (A seasonal product dependent on market conditions, but fully automated, requiring no ongoing team overhead to keep the portal running.)
- DeFi Academy: Educating users to grow the ecosystem. (The DeFi Academy will cover how to use Yamfore, Obymare, and Uyniboard itself, boosting adoption through a seamless onboarding process. External funding from initiatives like Catalyst can also be secured to enhance this effort and support other valuable projects within the Cardano ecosystem.)
Initially, Uyniboard will launch with only the OTC Desk, a strategic choice due to its high demand and reasonable development effort.
Uyniboard’s OTC Desk empowers users to effortlessly trade large one-off orders for any asset: a seller lists Z asset for Y amount of X asset, and any buyer can come fulfill it. This straightforward offer-and-fulfill system features an intuitive UI and UX for maximum accessibility. The OTC Desk will be the first DeFi service launched with Uyniboard, preceding all other listed features. All proceeds derived from the Uyniboard platform will flow back into the two previously discussed strategies, simple as that, so either

With a team of fewer than 10, we minimize overhead and maximize impact by tapping into Cardano’s advanced tech stack. The latest dev tooling on Cardano and best practices enable us to create sophisticated products without hefty budgets or oversized teams. This lean philosophy, combined with revenue streams that thrive independently of market hype or frequent token sales, positions Big BLYMP for enduring success in a crowded ecosystem.
And lastly, as a final major announcement, the community will be excited to hear that, with Obymare development wrapping up this month, Yamfore V1.5 rolling out, and Uyniboard’s imminent launch (starting with the OTC Desk), we’re nearing a pivotal milestone. By the end of Q1, we will officially end all CBLP sales for funding. This transition highlights our dedication to sustainable revenue models, moving away from reliance on token sales and toward a self-sufficient future.
